கம்பு தோசை
தேவையானவை: கம்பு 2 கப், புழுகங்கலரிசி 1/2 கப்,பச்சரிசி - 1/2 கப்,காய்ந்த மிளகாய் - 4 ,உப்பு - தேவையான அளவு, பெருங்காயத்தூள் - 1/4 டீஸ்பூன்,பொடியாக நறுக்கிய கொத்துமல்லி - சிறிதளவு,துருவிய தேங்காய் -ஒரு டேபிள்ஸ்பூன் , எண்ணெய் - தேவையான அளவு.
செய்முறை : கம்பை தனியக 2 மணி நேரம் ஊறவைக்கவும்.அரிசி இரண்டையும் சேர்த்து ஒன்றாக 2 மணி நேரம் ஊற வைக்கவும்.ஊறவைத்த கம்பு,அரிசி,காய்ந்த மிளகாய்,உப்பு,பெருங்காயம், தேங்காய் துருவல் எல்லாவற்றையும் ஒன்றாக சேர்த்து நைஸாக அரைக்கவும்.பின்னர் கொத்துமல்லியை கலந்து தோசைகளாக வார்க்கவும்.
வெந்தய தோசை
தேவையானவை: வெந்தயம் 1 கப்,பச்சரிசி - 1/2 கப்,காய்ந்த மிளகாய் - 2 ,உப்பு - தேவையான அளவு,எண்ணெய் - தேவையான அளவு.
செய்முறை : வெந்தயம் ,அரிசி,மிளகாய் மூன்றையும் 5 மணி நேரம் ஊற வைக்கவும்.பிறகு நைஸாக அரைக்கவும்.உப்பு போட்டு கரைத்து வைக்க்கவும்.மாவு 5 மணி நேரம் புளிக்கட்டும்.இது சிறிது கசப்பாகத்தான் இருக்கும்.(ஆனால் புளித்தால் கசப்பு அவ்வளவாகத் தெரியாது.).வெயில் காலத்துக்கு ஏற்ற தோசை.சூடாக வார்த்து சாப்பிட்டால் நன்றாக இருக்கும்.

Smart,Intelligent Decision
Today we can look in to the issues that we have seen number of times ,but not having second thought on that.
We have seen matrimonial page in number of dailys .In that we came across number of advertisements like "Slim,beautiful and Fair Girl needed " or "Smart and Homely girl needed ".
The second advertisement seems to be little bit confusing .The boy needs a smart girl ,for what ? so that he can take her out and show off to his society ."Homely Girl" then only she will be doing all house hold works for him.Is that means they are expecting multitasking from the girls?
"FAIR" this word running in all of our veins.We have wrong perception that FAiR - "in commanding position" because we orginated from the dominance of fair races that ruled as for a long time :).if you ask someone for the reason of looking for the Fair girl they will say , it will improve the genes and will have beautiful children.So is that they don't need intelligence for thier children ? do you think is this the smart decision ?
The major reason for this are ,we are not thinking in long terms,considering only genes which is short term.The second is we have fear of ridiculed by this society .To look beyond this "slim,homely and beautiful girl" we have to think in long term.
Whatever may be the reason,to solve this,girls and boys need to mingle more and choose their own life partners themselves.They must give priority to the inner person compare to the outward look.This will make marriages successful.Girls are gaining knowledge and are in better position,so her Intelligence matters,education matters and compatibility matters.So we expect soon "Slim ,fair, Homely girl needed" disappears and we will read something like this "want smart,intelligent partner with good education background" :) :)
